Emily Kincses Lindsay

Emily Kincses Lindsay is a native of Jackson, Mississippi.  Ms. Lindsay attended Millsaps College where she received her Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in 2011.  While at Millsaps College, Ms. Lindsay was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha political science honor society, and a Second Century Scholar with a major in Political Science and a minor in English.  Ms. Lindsay received her Juris Doctorate (summa cum laude) from Mississippi College School of Law in 2014.  While in law school, Ms. Lindsay was an active member of the Law Review as Production Editor and the Moot Court Board as Internal Problem Editor.  She competed in the Chief Judge Conrad R. Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition as brief writer in 2013 and 2014.  She also received several awards including Best Appellee Brief in the Copeland, Cook, Taylor, and Bush Moot Court Competition and American Jurisprudence Awards in Legal Writing I and II, Agriculture Law, and Clean Water Act.  Ms. Lindsay also served as a research assistant for Professor Jeffrey Jackson and as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure I and II.  She also externed for the Honorable Neil P. Olack, United States Bankruptcy Judge, and as a legislative extern with the Mississippi Pharmacists Association.  After law school, Ms. Lindsay served as a law clerk to the Honorable T. Kenneth Griffis, Jr. on the Mississippi Court of Appeals for two years.  Ms. Lindsay is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Jackson Young Lawyers Association, and the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association.  She is licensed in Mississippi and is admitted to practice before all state courts in Mississippi, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
